A Separate aseptic section is dedicated for microbiological work. Investigations includes both pathogenic and non-pathogenic microorganism. Major area of research for the team is to isolate and characterize microbial strains, investigate antimicrobial potential of test compounds/matrix, and isolation of bioactive components from microbial culture.
